North Florida Chapter Presents: Your Superpowers: Unleashing Strengths for Personal Growth and Team Innovation

    DESCRIPTION:

Consider how contact lenses help us see the world more clearly. Our combination of talent strengths is like those lenses altering how we see the world around us. These talents tend to come so naturally that we don’t think about it; they are automatic. At our best, we are energized and fulfilled. At our worst, we are depleted and de-energized.

But it’s not enough to know our strengths. We must value our contributions and what others can count on us for. It’s important to understand what conditions, through relationships and tasks, our strengths need to thrive. As leaders, we must also be aware of the strengths of those we lead and collaborate with. Rooted in positive psychology and neuroscience, this knowledge helps us to bring out the best in ourselves and others, maximize productivity and innovation, and foster well-being.

    Learning Objectives

    • Introduce a preliminary understanding of your Top 5 strengths' role in the unique value each of us brings.

    • Raise self-awareness, and “other awareness,” by focusing on what’s right, rather than fixating on what’s wrong.

    • How overuse (or underuse) of our top strengths leads to our biggest weaknesses.

Amy A. Kessler is in her element when she’s connecting with people, telling stories, and sharing fascinating insights. She has a natural gift for making others feel engaged, appreciated, and entertained all at once. Her passion for creating a sense of belonging stems from her deep belief in the power of CliftonStrengths, which highlights the unique contributions we each bring to our teams, clients, and those we lead. For Kessler, no challenge is too great—there’s always a way forward, and she’s ready to find it.

With over three decades of experience in the corporate world, Kessler’s been captivated by what makes people not just successful leaders, but truly fulfilled in life. She spent the early part of her career in advertising, helping major brands like Gatorade and Miller Brewing Company connect with U.S. Hispanic audiences. Along the way, she earned two coaching certifications— Certified People Acuity Guide and Strengths Strategy Certified Specialist—and has made it her mission to help others discover the ease and immense value of working with a top-notch executive coach. A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, she’s a firm believer in the lifelong power of learning and growth.

Recognizing the need for a single, reliable source of vetted top-tier coaches who share a unified approach, Kessler founded Potentia Coaches. Busy leaders turn to her when they need to be paired with the ideal coach—someone who can guide them or their teams to success. Potentia offers a global cadre of strengths-based executive coaches, eliminating the headache of trying to find the perfect fit. Amy doesn’t just make the connection; she ensures the coaching relationship is fruitful and enriching. “Potentia,” rooted in Latin, speaks to potential, strength, and power—the key ingredients, in Kessler’s view, for fulfillment both at work and in life.

From Follow-Up to Flow: Designing a Simple Client Continuity System for Coaches

This is a follow-up to the first session presented by Brian titled: From Great Conversations to Consistent Clients: A Simple Follow-Up System for Coaches.  This second workshop moves into the next natural step: creating a simple structure that supports consistent client growth.

Many coaches have meaningful conversations, but without a clear system, opportunities often become invisible over time. Not because of lack of skill or demand, but because there is no simple way to maintain visibility and consistency.

In this session, we will explore how to move from scattered conversations to a clear and lightweight client continuity system. This is not a technical setup session. It is a strategic and practical conversation designed to help you think clearly about your own system before implementing it.

    We will cover:

    • The key elements of a simple follow-up structure (without complexity)
    • How to create visibility on your conversations and opportunities
    • How to prioritize who to reconnect with and when
    • The difference between having a CRM and having a usable system
    • Common mistakes that make systems feel heavy or unsustainable

Participants will leave with a clear framework to structure their follow-up in a way that feels natural, organized, and aligned with their coaching approach.

    PRESENTER: Brian Carries Naar

Brian is an Executive and Business Development Coach with over 15 years of experience in sales, leadership, and building growth systems for professional services and technology companies. He is a CPA by training and a former Partner and VP of Sales of a global SaaS company, where he helped scale the business from early-stage startup to hundreds of clients across 50+ countries.
