Come join us at the Center for Creative Leadership for an engaging in-person presentation and discussion on the topic of Navigating identify, Inclusion, and Coaching Mindset.

Conversations around identity, power, and inclusion are among the most vital—and most sensitive—topics in our society today. These themes touch the very core of our human experience, shaping how we perceive ourselves and others. As coaches, we are not immune to the emotional charge these topics carry. They often evoke strong reactions, especially when societal or political narratives around identity, privilege, or marginalization intersect with our personal beliefs.

In one-on-one sessions or group settings, our ability to remain present and neutral may be tested when these themes arise. Our own identities can surface, subtly or explicitly, challenging our coaching stance and our capacity to hold space without judgment.

In this community session, Ana and Xavier will guide a reflective and grounded exploration of identity and power using Sylvia Duckworth’s “Wheel of Power and Privilege” as a conversational springboard. The goal is not to impose a particular view or a dogma. We will co-create a space for courageous dialogue, increase awareness of systemic voices present in the room, and strengthen our collective ability to coach across differences with clarity and compassion.

    Facilitaed by Xavier Garcia-Weibel

This event will be a great opportunity to meet fellow coaches and make new connections. Light refreshments will be served.
