As coaches, our ability to guide transformative change hinges on our capacity to stay present, neutral, and curious. This requires us not only to manage our emotions but to develop mastery in emotional regulation. Unfortunately, most coach training programs sidestep the topic of emotions, often categorizing them as belonging to the """"therapy lane."""" Unless a coach seeks additional education, they may remain unaware of what emotional regulation truly means and how their own nervous system impacts their clients.

To regulate our emotions effectively, we must understand the physiology of emotions and move beyond fearing them or mislabeling them as purely therapeutic. Emotional regulation isn't just about """"staying calm""""; it's about recognizing how our physiological states and mental narratives work in tandem to shape our responses and reality. This session will introduce participants to the latest scientific insights on emotions and cutting-edge techniques to embody a coaching mindset with greater skill and intention.

By the end of the seminar, participants will:

    • Define emotional regulation and understand its three levels.
    • Identify the two components of any emotion that unlock its transformative potential.
    • Demonstrate effective emotional regulation techniques you can use on yourself.

*Each participants will receive - 1 CCE in Core Competencies

    0.5 CCE in Resource Development
