AI & Coaching: What the Research Says, What Ethics Demands, and What Only You Can Do

AI is reshaping the coaching profession — and coaches deserve more than hype or fear. This half-day forum gives ICF San Diego members a grounded, evidence-based space to explore what artificial intelligence actually means for coaching practice, ethics, and the irreplaceable human element of our work.

Whether you're already using AI in your coaching or haven't touched it yet, this forum meets you where you are.

What You'll Experience

A research segment grounded in the latest peer-reviewed findings on AI coaching — what works, what doesn't, and what the science says about the human variables that remain irreplaceable. A panel discussion with leading ICF voices responding to those findings, exploring ethical use, DEIB implications, and what ICF standards say about AI integration. A hands-on workshop where you'll follow along live and experience a complete AI-assisted coaching workflow — no prior tech experience required. And a closing reflection with fellow coaches to identify your own human edge.

You'll leave with practical tools, ethical clarity, and one concrete action to take in your practice.
